He joined Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC in 1998 and is a former member of the firm's board of directors. He has led the firm’s estate planning and private wealth group since 2005. He is a founding member and president of the Iowa Academy of Trust and Estate Counsel and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
