About the Speaker:

Holly holds a bachelors degree in History from Marycrest College & spent 25 years in Colorado as a Regional Sales Manager for such companies as ConAgra Foods, Schwans Food Service and Hach Chemical.                                                                                                                 Since 2006 she also had a secondary role and one that would ultimately become her most important one - That of caregiver to her aging parents, who were both diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Holly managed their affairs as best she could from a distance, until that was no longer a viable option. She then returned to her hometown of Davenport, Iowa to become their caregiver.                                                                                                              Both of her parents passed away in 2017 from complications due to Alzheimer's and then Holly began volunteering in Memory Care  and for the Alzheimer's Association as a community educator. She uses her skills in the corporate world and her personal story to educate and help other families navigating the overwhelming journey of Alzheimer's and Dementia.
